Today’s vote to move municipal elections to November is a win for democracy in San Antonio. More voices, more participation, and better representation for our city. Grateful to Mayor Jones, community leaders, and local organizations who helped move this forward.

My heart is with the Brown University community as they grapple with today’s violence. These spaces must be places of learning, growth, and safety—not fear. We owe students, faculty, and families a commitment to protect our campuses and prevent senseless harm.

Great to spend time with our fellow democrats at tonight’s ballot drawing. The primaries are just around the corner — and I look forward to meeting you and earning your trust and vote. When you head to the polls, look for my name as #2 on the ballot for Bexar County Judge.
