#TimeTravelAuthors Day 13 How realistic is your story? Well, I sold the story as "Outlander meets The Handmaid's Tale" and with the current state of the world, it might be quite realistic. The book is Her Highlander Choice, and my publisher went out of business, so the book is in a state of flux.

#TimeTravelAuthors Day 11 My favorite time travel trope is the "fish out of water" scenario, where the "traveler" encounters something for which they have no context.

I don't do #newyearsresolutions, but I do set goals and choose a word that targets those goals. I'm heading into uncharted territory in 2026 with new professional and personal adventures and the release of the first book in a new series. #Explore seemed perfect.

I consider the beginning of my writing career journey to be when I first attended a writing conference back in 2010. It signified the first time I considered myself an author, even though it would be another ten years before I became a published writer.

I've been out of touch for a bit while I recover from knee surgery and a broken ankle (both happened on the same day)--long story that only I could manage to pull off. I'm able to begin to transition myself away from the boot, which is the best present ever & I'm getting back to work. So thankful!
