Bluesky makes me realize that the algorithm to suggest posts for you on Twitter or Instagram isn't really as bad as it sounds. We need relevant ads; posts; products to buy; people to follow. Otherwise it is quite boring.

your likes and dislikes are often overblown. most of the time, it is very random and as time passes, it gets difficult to rationalise it. there's nothing sacred about the people you like and the activities you love doing. it's actually much more haphazard than you might imagine.

most of us have “artificial intelligence”. we’ve forgotten how to be human. we respond without thought, without questioning the relevance of what we say or know. we’ve been faking intelligence for so long, and it’s only getting worse. truly, AI has a bright future.

I took a three-week retreat from everything, and now returning to normal feels impossible, especially when I don’t want to. What once felt essential now seems meaningless. I can live without everything I couldn’t live without. My choices, habits, interests, ambitions, they are all an illusion.
