Earlier this year I saw a judge issue a bench warrant for someone in the hospital because they had a LITERAL HEART ATTACK and when their attorney objected and reiterated that they were IN THE LITERAL HOSPITAL, the judge said "this is no less important. They could have gotten themselves discharged."

Disabled people deserve more than the bare minimum to survive (not that many even get that)... They deserve to have enough to try and find their best quality of life, to have support, and whatever they need to manage their health. They deserve to be and feel safe.
