Voters don’t talk in cable news sound bites. They talk about the food bank running low, the cost of raising a kid, and the feeling that no one in power is fighting for them. When you really listen, those stories hit you: people aren’t asking for perfection. They’re asking to be taken seriously.

Delegate-elect @jess4va.com knocked every door she could in her VA state house district—and the day before Election Day, a conservative voter wrote her a message that they disagreed on every policy, but by showing up to listen, she had earned his vote.

Tommy Vietor admitted what a lot of folks feel: canvassing can feel awkward—showing up at a stranger’s door, not knowing how they’ll react, hoping it’s worth your time. Ground Truth flips that experience.
