It's a shame you can't get gas cards like you can postage stamps. I'd be much happier putting 20 GALLONS on a card instead of $52 on a card, this way when gas prices inevitably go up the amount of gas I can get on the card stays the same.

I feel like retailers got Morbius'd in regards to the Dubai chocolates thing. I remember hearing about it being a big craze on various social medias. Then they started showing up on store shelves for $10/bar. They always seemed to be well stocked, too. But I suspect that's because nobody was buying.

Okay, insurance got back to me on the payout for the van. It is... a little more than I expected, a lot less than I hoped, but still a pretty decent amount. I JUST sent off the title today, so hopefully I'll have the payout Monday or Tuesday and can start looking for a replacement vehicle.

It's 19 degrees outside with a wind chill dropping it down to 8, but it feels colder somehow. It's the kind of chill that feels like it's going straight to your bones. I don't like it.

Another wild Mario Party game today. Was playing a team game with my parents and sister, doing a boys/girls teamup. My dad and I were absolutely dominating the game, right up until a turn 8 chance time that saw all 5 of our stars being given to my Mom and sister. We obviously never recovered :P

Hmm. I wonder what I'll do with these parts I bought for the van. I was going to install them next week (thermostat and belt) but I guess it's kind of moot now. Might be able to return them, assuming I still have the original packaging.
