Hey hey! I'm Yorkshire Rover, but everybody calls me York. Thirtysomething car, aviation and railway enthusiast. Scalie. Triceratops. It just happened one day. Keen mediocre aircraft modeller. Owner of a 1990 Rover 827Si and, currently, a 2009 Peugeot 207. I don't know how to use Bluesky...

VOLITION - Subdue the regret. Dust yourself off, proceed. You'll get it in the next life, where you don't make mistakes. Do what you can with this one, while you're alive.

New cleaning stuff was a success. Considering I've not got a jetwash, she's scrubbed up well!

Introduction to H. P. Lovecraft finished tonight. Intrigued enough to read more, I found some of the stories in here to have atmosphere so thick that you could cut it with a knife.

Oh yeah, it's Pride month, isn't it? Happy Pride, from one idiot in Yorkshire to all my LGBT+ friends around the world

Slow but sure progress. Engines and landing gear on. Poor fitment around the engine cowlings so have applied a little filler, shame I'll have to paint them again but hey ho.

Window switch is now fixed though, so I don't have to fish it out of the door every time I wanna use it. Luckily a cheap fix.

The heatwave continues. Which is a lot of fun in a car with broken aircon

Car post. From when my daily driver Peugeot 207 needed a head gasket. I'd known it was going when I bought the car for £250, but nearly a year later it had started to lose coolant at a rate of about a litre a week. 12 hours later, she was running sweet again

Had a productive weekend. New springs and shocks for my Rover 827. I never like fitting coil springs, but they're on and the car handles and rides better than ever!
