Found this old step by step I made to showcase photobashing. Personally I think it’s a technique that works well if you’re aiming more for a vibe rather than functional concept art design, don’t get stuck looking for perfect images, and keep high res photos for the main subject/middle ground

worked on the hooves and began reworking the whole body, but turns out the back hooves and front hooves aren’t the same on a horse, the fronts are rounder and the hinds are narrower in the toe, and the hind is more upright in the ground to pastern angle, thanks peeps in TheManequest discord for info

Also had to test and pose the head into something other than the standard pose, angry ears cause I lost patience with Zbrushs interface. Pls send beginner tutorials or recommended courses if you have any…

A return of Bob the horse. I’ve worked on and off on him for so long mostly because I try to learn sculpting, then life gets busy and I drop it, then once I get back to it the anatomy is wrong and I start all over. Edited the head and moving on the reworking the hind legs..

I’ve been making Lena Furberg style drawings feeling nostalgic, her comics and horses were what really set me off drawing back as a child and I still admire her way of doing linework so much <3
