Ett helt oproportionerligt stort antal poliser, ditkallade av universitetsledningen, står liksom med handen på sina vapen när de bevakar universitetsanställda och studenter som på ett fullständigt fredligt sätt protesterar mot ett pågående folkmord.

SUs fastighetsavdelning har fått direktiv från ledningen att kontinuerligt rensa universitetets alla anslagstavlor från politiskt innehåll associerat med Palestina, och forskare i ledningen har klippt banden med doktorander associerade med Academics for Palestine.

Repressionen som riktas mot palestinaaktivister på SUs campus har verkligen helt spårat ur. Helt fredliga demonstranter som varje vecka genomför en walk-out har nu börjat kastas in i polisbilar, hotas om konsekvenser om de deltar i liknande manifestationer igen, och körs ut i skogen.
