Two-thirds of the 15,000 striking nurses reached a tentative agreement that could end the strike, and it took far too long. Nurses fought for safe staffing, nurse safety, and a fair contract. The strike continues at NewYork-Presbyterian. I stand with nurses and all working people. #StandWithNurses

Journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort were arrested by federal agents, reportedly under direction from Attorney General Pam Bondi. Detaining the press while the murderers of U.S. citizens face no accountability are alarming abuses of power. An attack on the press is an attack on democracy.

Alex Jeffrey Pretti was an ICU nurse who spent his life caring for others. He was murdered by ICE while trying to help a woman agents had pushed to the ground. This is a tragedy. We need change now: pass #NY4All and abolish ICE.
