my theory is that jesus actually faked being dead and made a crazy daring escape and the early christians telling veiled retellings of the exciting tale (while trying to keep it kind of secret so ppl dont go looking for him) turned into the folklore of the resurrection

when you start to learn a language you may have a stage of buying any random book in that language you may encounter in an op shop. I think i realised i was going too far with this when i found myself spending 2 dollars on a jehovahs witness tract in Traditional Chinese

there are whole parts of the world (australia, america, uk, europe...) where no books are ever made that you can put in your pocket. The cheap versions of books that are available are horrible gluey things with smudgy ink and pages that fall out. Is it any wonder that our societies are illiterate? ?

when i learned of the story of samson in the bible, i laughed a lto because it's literal looney tunes nonsense... muscly guy punches the columns of a big raised house and it kills everyone. And my mum had read it and was like 'yes its so tender and inspiring'

TOP 10 LEAST DISTURBING THINGS CAUGHT LIVE ON CAMERA number 10 happy grasshopper eating a leaf. If you saw a happy grasshoppe eating a leaf, you would pretty much not feel disturbed. That's exactly what viewers of ABC kids ' bugz alive!' programme witnessed with their own eyes one day live on TV
