When I was close to MJ, opportunists were always attempting to bribe me into giving them a “pathway” to him. Some of his “so called” friends were more than willing to profit from their connection to him.

Frank Cascio wanted Michael to go with him to (the tower)to return a ring Frank was trying to get MJ to purchase. MJ had no interest in the ring or meeting the person who was trying to get Cascio to sell it to MJ, so Michael did not go. Nothing connecting MacFarlane and MJ. I guess both lucky.

We went to an orphanage in Moscow. We went back to his room in the hotel. He sat at the piano and started writing STRANGER IN MOSCOW.

The reason why I cry listening to these old songs isn't because I want to return to the past. It's through music that I get to bear witness to all my past selves. I can see the girl and woman I used to be. She doesn't know I'm there. I know my future self is here, right now, watching these tears.
