We welcome the ceasefire in Gaza but we cannot rest on our laurels and we must keep all eyes on Palestine. Israeli apartheid must end. The occupation must end. Ireland can play her part by passing the Occupied Territories Bill.

OTD in 1914 strikers gather at Croydon Park where Larkin advises them to go back to work on the best terms available. His one injunction to them is not to sign the form renouncing the ITGWU. The next day 1,000 dockers try to return to work. Only half are taken back.
