It’s time for my next game and it’s my first replay of the year. I’m gonna be playing a lot of Naughty Dog games this year, no surprise if you know me since they’ve been my favorite game developer since I was little. Uncharted is probably my all time favorite game series. It means SO MUCH to me.

Before Resident Evil Requiem gets into our hands on Feb. 27th, I should share of my ranking of the mainline RE games:

I’ve been waiting for this game for 13 years now. I remember begging my mom to get it for me at launch and when I came home from school that day, it was waiting for me. I had just started high school.

This game is SO much fun. I was born in ‘99 and I never had any 90’s consoles besides the N64 & PS1 so I missed out on a bunch of it. Glad I get to experience it now

I have decided on my next game. I’ve put this one off repeatedly but that time is finally here. #DonkeyKongCountry for the very first time. Last February, I played the arcade DK’s for the first time and thought the 2nd one was decent. The others were quite mediocre. Let’s see what DKC has to offer

Can’t believe people still put stock into Punxsutawney Phil. I’m sure he’s a good boy and all but I’m sorry I’m not going to a fucking groundhog for winter predictions 😭 It’s all very ludicrous to me.

#MetroidFusion has been finished. Despite the last two bosses being a bit lacking and the dumb decision to lockdown all sectors after receiving the final objective, Fusion has been a marvelous experience. This series just continues to impress the hell outta me.

Today, I started my rewatch of arguably the greatest season of television ever produced, True Detective S1. When I played Alan Wake II for the first time this past October, I thought the early chapters for Saga gave me strong TDS1 vibes. And here I am, reliving fucking greatness all over again. 🌀

Tomorrow is the first day above freezing in like 2 weeks.

I’m almost done with #MetroidFusion and the story is a mix of The Terminator & Alien Resurrection. And it is stellar. The Resurrection mention sounds like a negative because that movie is ass but I like what they’re doing with a certain concept in this game. And there’s a lot of Ripley in Samus.

I finished Super Metroid today. It’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. It’s my new favorite game of the 90’s. It’s rare I play two games in a series back to back but I’m doing that today. The time between Super Metroid & Metroid Fusion is 8 years. For me? Two hours. #MetroidFusion starts now

So… #SuperMetroid is officially my new favorite game of the 90’s. I cannot express to you how absolutely fucking special this game is.

This post is two days old but I actually started it today. Sometimes you’ll hear how phenomenal a classic game is and you start to get worried that it won’t live up to the hype? That maybe it was great for its time but may seem a little dated by today’s standards? Super Metroid is not that game.

The Florist is easily one of my most anticipated games of 2026. From the second I saw the reveal trailer, I instantly knew this game was made for me. 💐

I need to replay this. Great game.

Fuck yes!!! Recompiled PC ports are the best. This is how I played Ocarina of Time & Majora’s Mask NATIVELY on my PC.

I fear I’ll never hear an album as good as this one ever again. Easy top 5 album of all time for me. Do yourself a favor and listen to Damnation by Opeth.
