1 thing I love about writers is that they get how dumb it is IRL when complicated problems need complicated solutions. Writers just let a genius character look at the math and say something stupid like "WE HAVE TO ROTATE IT" - rotate what?? No one knows! But everyone gasps so you know it's serious.
