I work full time but I also have a biz on the side. I'm waiting to see if a whopping contract will come in any day now. If it does, I can book myself onto some excellent training, buy a fancy yarn advent calendar, and possibly go to Edinburgh for Christmas. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

My childhood equivalent of the Usborne book of ghosts was this wonderful book that kickstarted my love of all things weird. Anyone else remember this one?

I booked my tickets, did five hours with the henna, finished my hat, and cooked a mushroom & cannellini bean stew (not shepherds pie). Failed on the book but I’m not far off the end and have lots of train travel this week 🚂

I was just in time! For #CrochetAway I don’t have anything too spooky but I do have some seasonal project pics in the archive. (Pumpkin mug rug pattern by Mrs Moon & Heaven and cup cosy pattern by OneStopWonders.)

It’s crochet rather than knit but my current project hopefully fits this theme. I’m taking a lot of care over my first time doing split single crochet colour work, and the mushroom pattern gives me lots of joy 🍄

Finally chilly enough in the valley to wear my new crochet jumpy 🧶 🍂

I very very rarely remember my dreams, but last night I remember dreaming that Dr John Carter from E.R. told me off for washing coffee grounds down the sink.
