This was Akila during the Turbine, and then Project: Sapphire AU. During this time I helped script a few things for them, namely the first version of the ExGear. The only reason I haven't disowned this version is primarily down to memories. I still wonder if it's possible to settle differences.

#SecondLife Been having some performance issues as PBR is being used in more content. Found some workarounds for those affected (will also list some common ones): 1) Add your viewer as an exclusion on your antivirus 2) Close all background processes 3) Increase your texture cache to 1/2 your VRAM

I've been pretty quiet about toxic behaviours in SL's Sonic community amongst creators, both relatively large and small in its own bubble. I've spoken up before when one of them attempted to steal a character of mine under what was basically, lies. Time to speak about the whole thing?

What drives me to make stuff? Rebellion. Sometimes it's against people or opinions, other times it's seeing something and wanting new experiences out of it. What many don't realize, is when they try to harm those efforts, I come back swinging harder. Don't let people stop you from creating art.

In other news, weighing in a little on the Attie stuff: A lot of people have blocked the account simply as an outcry towards the use of AI. For those that don't know, Attie vibe codes feeds for you. For those excusing that, there is a reason why Windows 11 feels worse than it used to.

Probably not-so-hot take: Bellisseria's commercial plots in #SecondLife don't make a lot of sense. Getting storefronts in mainland is pretty cheap and you pay Premium Plus subscription prices in the /hope/ you might claim one of these plots for... Another satellite location? Just go rent a store.
