Hands down my favorite non-fiction read this year! It covers the fascinating, "forgotten" history of phage therapy, the broader impact of viruses beyond medicine, and future perspectives. And all of these beautifully written. Felt like a novel! Highly recommended for everyone!!

Spent the weekend in the Pyrenees on a mountain ecology field course by @geovegub.bsky.social. Learned (and remembered!) to sample traits, measure soil gas fluxes & track climate-driven vegetation shifts. Beautiful, but also sad to see these ecosystems disappearing before our eyes.
