Had a West Coast pale from Two Flints called Texas Sun which was absolutely outstanding (no photo unfortunately 😻). Rusty Bucket had a really good selection today. Now in @apintofhops.bsky.social where Allagash Curieux is tasting great.

Spending time in the lovely Metafoor before the Leuven Craft Beer Fest opens & thought my third beer should be low alcohol. Went for the 0.5% Troubadour Zestra & it’s rather delicious - smells like their Magma with a lighter version of the flavour. If only all low alcohol beer tasted like this! 🍻🥰

First stop in Leuven is Domus Brewery tap where a flight was in order, starting with a refreshing pils, then the amber and triple 🍻

After a fab beer and cheese pairing courtesy of @thedodomicropub.bsky.social and Pretty Decent Brewery we decided it was time for @queerbrewing.bsky.social Synth IPA in commiseration at the recent, very sad news of their closure. Lily’s video was heart breaking 💔

First stop today is the wonderful Trafalgar, South Wimbledon. This is a true gem of a pub. We may be here for some time 🥰🍻

Acid Reign are a brilliantly entertaining thrash metal band and H, the lead singer is slightly crazy

Stop 1 today is the Claret & Ale in Addiscombe which is an old favourite of ours. The boys are fascinated by the bright orange cider 😂

SW of London today. 1st stop was The Antelope, Surbiton - ok for a Big Smoke pub but the cask beer was quite warm. 2nd stop was Webrew, Kingston - a decent Windsor & Eton bar. However, the standout place is 7000 Jars where beers are great & having air-con is a life saver. No fear here 🍻

It’s always a good night when something like this comes out late evening 😻🍻

First part of our journey home is complete and we are settled in at Cantillon with the two Zwanze beers 🍻

It’s been a gentle day starting at Cambrinus where we had tea, then a collab Trappist beer. After a brief stop for food in our hotel we headed to south west of the city for 2 great bars - Papil & De HOPtimist. Now settled in Bernie’s where @gamerdrinker.bsky.social is “flirting with the bartender” 😂

Just got back to the hotel and it’s the small things that matter ❤️

First bar in Bruges is In De Reisduif. It’s a cute place with the standard beers. Went for a Westmalle Dubbel as haven’t had that for ages. Peri is also happy with my choice 😻

I had to bring all the friends out tonight to Dodo as it’s birthday drinks otherwise there would be arguments 🤪

Apparently these two beers are both a 1/3rd measure 🤣. Great service at Hackney Church taproom!

Fun Friday pub crawl starting at the amazing Little Green Dragon in Winchmore Hill, then on to Hillbilly Social and the Bohem Tap - a must visit place if you like Czech beer 💗

Bar Polski (Vodka bar) in Holborn (one of my favourite non-beer places) has permanently closed 😢.

First stop today was Open Gate Guinness Brewey which was a nice space and a couple decent beers, including a Rye Pale, a Irish Tea Amber and a Dark Lager. I would come back here

After two days stuck indoors with a cold, it’s nice to be out in the sunshine today. First stop is Cock Tavern where the cask selection is pretty good and with very reasonable pricing. Loving that they have three cask lagers on at the same time 😊.

Enjoying the beers at Siren’s 13th birthday. @gamerdrinker.bsky.social isn’t impressed that Peri is being his usual self by showing interest in the Pomona Island ‘All Calls Diverted To Answer Phone’, a coconut, chocolate and tonka stout 😂🍻

It’s been a fun few days. Starting with Wandsworth Common beer fest on Wednesday, then a great celebration of women in booze history @thedodomicropub.bsky.social on Thursday, followed by Friday afternoon drinks in the Nags and Castle, Reading, before Siren’s 13th birthday tomorrow My poor liver 😂💗🍻

After a delicious breakfast our first stop is We Brought Beer in Tooting Broadway where the Westie WC IPA from Wimbledon brewery is outstanding. The 5 beers on tap are all pretty good.

Very sad to see that Nicholas Brendon has passed away at just 54. Xander was a great character in Buffy 🖤

Loving the beers at Pressure Drop Beyond the Pale fest and look who’s woken up for the Amity impy stout 🤣. Stand out for me so far is Naga, a tequila ba thai green curry saison by Tartarus.

Really enjoying the Warpigs tap takeover @apintofhops.bsky.social. It’s a delight to see 3 of the 6 are West Coast IPAs.

Happy I managed to get 3 international women’s day beers in King’s Arms before the @craftybeergirls.bsky.social meet today. Nice to also have pre-drinks with @kirsteensy.bsky.social as well. Typically though Peri has woken up only cos there is a Barley Wine on the table 🤣

Dumplings @thedodomicropub.bsky.social to celebrate Chinese new year by Little Pagoda are delicious. We had the veggie & vegan ones. The boys are a bit grumpy that they couldn’t have any 🤣👍

Just had lovely “Valentines Day” meal in Mall Tavern, Notting Hill - early bird booking meant a free bottle of Cremant after my 1/2 of Steady Rolling Man on cask💗. Afterwards we decided to give The Bush Tavern a 2nd chance - don’t think we’ll be bothering with again as it’s the embodiment of beige.

Fabulous @craftybeergirls.bsky.social night in a very busy Soho and it’s topped off with the best version of Titanic Porter I have had in a very long time 💗

Having a fun unexpected night in a new(ish) wine bar in Greenford. It’s super friendly and I’m very happy to have somewhere decent to drink this close to home.
