Our UN case makes 2 key points: 1. Scotland fully meets UN defined criteria as a Non Self Governing Territory (colony); and 2. Scotland is NOT in a voluntary partnership (as stated by UK Gov. to the UN in 1954) but was forcibly annexed under the 1707 Treaty of Union (unimplemented by England).

LS terminated its 6 month contract with consultancy JPTI in late October (refer: liberation.scot/coms/Novembe...). We are now engaging directly with the UN C24 Decolonisation Committee - using our network of contacts with member state reps established during our Geneva & NYC meetings this year.

The Scottish Parliament matters — it proves self-governance is possible. Maybe independence won’t come from within an extension of Westminster that limited it in the first place. Decolonisation asks: what if sovereignty begins outside the walls of government, in how we think and imagine ourselves?
