I was so happy I got to make it back home yesterday when I did. She's still with us but yesterday was the last she's been able to respond. It may not have been much but hearing her make sounds of joy when I walked into the room to join her was so beautiful. <3

I again have a perfectly smooth clean (also swollen) face. Sadly it looks like I'll probably need 2 more treatments till I finally never have to deal with facial hair again. However I'll get a nice 4-6 week break from having to shave do there's that. Now to hurry back home to momma fox!

I had to leave my mom's side last night and I'm now back in Chicago for my next round of electrolysis. Why not be in emotional AND physical pain! -.- I know my mom would want me to continue my treatment so it's an easy call, but wow does it suck.

I had a really sweet dream with my mom in it. I then woke up about 40mins before my alarm to an eerily peaceful house just before the sunrise. Part of me really hoped she would have passed that night and that her struggle would be over. After I start getting ready I know that that's not the case.

Looks like I'll be getting my first taste of irl endurance racing this Aug. That's a nice little sunny break in the clouds I needed for today! ^^

Can't wait till I can start posting happier stuff on here... Like I'm really excited and happy with the direction my life has been going but it's been constant headwinds since this fall. I've managed to overcome so much and I know I'll get through this (It'll be so hard) as well!

I'm so glad I've started assisting and coaching with a women's iracing league. Having that kind of work that has real purpose and personal passion behind it in my life has been really helping me find personal strength. Right now, I can use all the strength I can.

I hate how easily I break under pressure. As soon as something important is on the line I just can't pull it out. Tonight was yet another example. I had the opertunity to win a sim racing event and championship and I just fall apart.

Sooooo much driving. Had to drop the car off at the team shop today. So I drove down to Daytona, dropped it off. Then drove back home to Atlanta. Ya girl is gonna pass out until Monday now -.-

The fact I see more cyber trucks than Corvettes is proof we're failing as a society.

Just had my last follow up with my FSS surgeon today. What an odd emotion of happiness and sadness at the same time. I'm so grateful for all the work he did. I finally get to look in the mirror and see the pretty girl I am looking back at me! <3 🥹

Here I am at 2am crying about the inevitable loss of the one parent who has loved and continues to love me. My mom is still here but she's having more and more trouble everyday. Just to make it through the daily pain she's on so many medications that she's trapped in a thick mental fog.

A huge thanks to @thegoodalchemyst.bsky.social for doing some custom tailoring in my race suit! He did an amazing job, still has the same mobility but now it always flatters the body I've been working so hard to get rocking!

It sucked I needed to come into work today... but at least I had a pretty view!
