John chuckled as more rocks spilled from where he'd hidden them in his sleeves. "Oh bollocks!"

John sighed as he tucked the cigarette away pulling out a small bottle of whiskey he kept on him all of the time. "Why not? I may be a bastard but I'm not heartless." He twisted off the lid and took a drink from the bottle.

"That's a trade secret. If I told ya I'd have to kill ya." He smirked lightly joking. Nodding a moment later. "Yeah, you can keep it, luv." He flopped backward and pulled a cigarette from somewhere settling it between his lips.

"That is called magic luv." John continues to grin as he held out the rock to Aspis. "Take a look."

John grinned and winked at Aspis as he sat up his hands still clasped together tightly. "All good luv." Making sure Aspis was looking at him he suddenly pulled a shiny rock from behind the other's ear.

He didn't really want to leave but he knew he had to. For Zatanna's safety. He did have stuff he needed to do. "See ya Zat." He murmured before heading out.

John began to feel antsy and hopped to his feet. "Well, I gotta get going, luv. See ya around sometime."

John wakes sometime later. The cell is much nicer than other cells he'd been in before. But he was still locked up and he still hated that so very much. Seeing Thawne lurking outside his cell had him cursing as he rubbed a hand down his face. "Thawne. . . ."

John might be watching to make sure she enjoys it.

Then he does a 'magic' trick and makes the coin 'disappear'.

If he'd been fully conscious, he'd have corrected Thawne, but as it was, he was absolutely plastered. He's starting to wake up but cannot dodge Thawne grabbing him.

"One big juicy burger coming right up!" John grinned as he got to his feet and headed out to get something to eat for himself and Zatanna.

John only broke the silence when he felt pangs of hunger. "Gonna go get something to eat. You want anything?"

It was a comfortable silence. No one needed John for anything and he could just exist.

Takes back the cigarette a moment later also taking a drag from it.
