lots of people talking about the CCB (last night MdL) offering with back to goal in buildup, and I think there's some misunderstanding: De Ligt's role is not to be receiving in these situations, his role is to draw pressure from the opposition away from the pivot in order to create space for them

Does anybody else feel like a lot of teams in Europe are pressing out of what often looks like a 4-1-4-1 at the moment? Seen a few teams do it recently, such as Lyon. Way I see it, it's a simple way to apply pressure on the opponent in a player-driven manner. Very exploitable though...
