What can I say but: Zenos Any implication that the WoL ENJOYED their confrontation with him? Absolutely not. Zenos represents everything he despises. Roscoe is happy to spar with friends - this was not that, it was purely a fight to the death

I really have the itch to try GW2 again but I fear XIV has spoiled me - knowing that in this game I went from an "I'll never play tank or healer" DPS to finding melee DPS the hardest role to play, the thought of not being able to change classes later on is terrifying 💀

Helped a friend run Dancing Plague last night and now I'm freshly thinking of the AU we have where Yuyuka accepted the role of Titania and never came back from the First :) Roscoe becoming a paternal figure to a vulnerable teenage girl and then losing her forever in a very short time :) ouch

Retainer Khali'ra has brought Roscoe so many things I couldn't resist keeping because they were so perfect for him as a baker. The best one so far has been a bread basket, but once he brought an entire kitchen cabinet. And a mansion roof. I think he was building the bakery himself

Since I last completed some full colour artwork of Roscoe when Dawntrail came out, he needed an updated design ready for the next expansion! He's now a combined MCH/GNB, and since I can't mix those glams in-game, I designed him a combo myself! 🎨 #bexarttag #FFXIV #OCsky

We have a co-WoL canon, so straight off the bat, we're VERY MUCH breaking the lore 😆 Every scene from late SB onwards has been rewritten to work out who did what. We haven't retconned anything major like character deaths or big world events, but individual moments frequently get tweaked

Roscoe had a standard Dunesfolk name until he escaped Gyr Abania hidden in the back of a merchant's wagon. So he wasn't handing out his real name to all and sundry while hiding from the Garlean empire, he pulled the name Roscoe from a poster of a bard, and Bramblewood from an inn he sheltered at

At this point? Not so much. But earlier on, such as the fight in Ul'dah with the man who framed a refugee for theft, or first arriving in Ishgard and discovering the deep level of corruption in the Temple Knights, Roscoe's first response has been violence. And to this day he doesn't regret it

Roscoe and Yuyuka were pulled to the First at the same time, since they both went to investigate the tower. They had only begun travelling together in SB and the Scions had just discovered while fighting Lakshmi that Yuyuka was a Warrior of Light, so it all kind of happened in a short space of time

Really struggling to figure out a good hotbar setup for MNK 💀 I'm not sure how to place the different abilities so I remember which corresponds to which form, and which ones are single-target/AoE. AND make that work on a controller hotbar

I really like the Neo-Ishgardian sets, I used the fending one for all of ShB (though I do wish they were made unisex so I could try the fem version too). The Heirloom sets are also a fave of mine for both DoW and DoM, I love their silhouettes. Honourable mention goes to Nier!

Hm... urge to put the Gyr Abanian plait back on Roscoe... the ponytail is closer to the way I draw his hair but it feels weird not to see him in-game with such big hair 😆

Roscoe started needing glasses once he hit his mid-30s! For someone who wears glasses I really don't have many OCs with them, so it's nice to add him to the somewhat short list, and I think he looks super cute with them 🤓

Roscoe sprung a surprise wedding on Khali'ra so he has no leg to stand on about being annoyed with surprises - fortunately, he loves them! Khali'ra would take him to a slap-up meal at the Bismarck and then watch the sun go down over the ocean together 💜

Even the director of the game has a bad ass back story for their Lala. Don't let anyone tell you your character can't kick ass because of their stature. Small, Tall, everyone can be the hero of the story. The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, Dungeons and Dragons, its the size of your heart that matters ❤️

Every time I witness a person realize or find out that Lahacred actually kills you after Prae, another year gets added to my life. Yes. Realize the horrific trauma this man carries because he watched his own hands kill the Warrior of Light.

I have minion names hidden, and yesterday I looked at Yuyuka's Alisaie minion and genuinely, with no hint of malice or humour, went "whose Alphinaud is this?" If you never see me again, just know there's nothing left of me but a smoking crater

Roscoe gets 90% of his personality from his mother. They're thick as thieves and she loves him with all her heart. She's also not afraid to call him an idiot sandwich, and he'll never tire of being a complete pest to her. Put together, they're a force to be reckoned with

Looking at some 2024 shots of the husbands a few months apart - a little time, a graphics update and me putting more work into post-processing paid off I think!
