Ildjarn & Nidhogg’s Norse EP is the shit. No fidelity, just raw atmosphere. It’s repetitive like in the best way I can think… Very primal, almost hypnotic. One of my BM favorites.

I got H.S. Tuominen’s 1980–1985 recordings, kindly sent by the artist. A true DIY Finnish gem! He played in Vessel Umpio, which released a few seven-inches. Later, his solo work ranged from ambient synths to hazy four-track pop and experimental soundscapes. Wild stuff!
