Bill Powell, 1916-2009, WWII veteran, opened Clearview Golf Club in 1948, the first African-American-owned and designed professional golf course. Powell was Inducted into the National Black Golf Hall of Fame in 1996 and Clearview became a National Historic Site in 2001. #BlackHistoryMonth #BHM
