You can take the girl out of California, but you can’t take the California out of the girl. Had such a great few weeks out here in the Bay Area and while that’s in absolutely no small part due to the company I was with, I just loved it out here.

Welp, after being accident free for over 11 years, I was rear ended on the highway while stopped for traffic on the last night of my vacation, ruining the plans I had for tonight and adding a whole ton of stress I really didn’t need. It was 0% my fault, but it still sucks to have to reset that count

Dressed up for what I believe is the first time since surgery (late February) on Friday Night for my company’s holiday party. Also drank more that night than I have total since surgery. Was a good night; I should go dancing more often.

I have such a profound problem with losing things that I always do like 2-3 extra sweeps around the hotel room to make sure I definitely didn’t leave something behind, even opening drawers and cupboards I’be never opened during my stay to make sure nothing crept in there on its own

Me: What are we doing tonight Ravyn? Also Me: Same thing we do every night Ravyn, failing to advance any further in our goal of narrowing down options to determine our walk up music for next softball season before the season begins. Me: Oh yeah, that reminds me, what about Larger Than Life?

In the past 24 hours I have learned two facts about things post-surgery: swimwear and swimming feel so much better; peeing in a cup is so much worse.

You know I can’t wait for next softball season when I’m out taking swings in my backyard in the middle of November.
