Potato planting on the allotment today, plus sowing pea, lettuce, beetroot, radish and chard seeds... whilst enjoying the sight of the Fritillaria imperialis and broad beans seedlings. And then harvesting some purple-sprouting broccoli for tea. Isn't that all so lovely?

The Merlin app identified 13 bird species on my allotment today, in a 5 minute period. The three most interesting to me were Greenfinch, Redwing and Chiffchaff 😍
