Sweet to hear our 2023
#CBCIdeas
documentary, "Hawkeye's Army", being replayed tonight on CBC Radio One. I loved producing this piece with

, and getting to parse all this with the great Alan Alda is still pretty indescribable.

This paper is interesting for a few reasons. It shows that mask mandates in healthcare protect patients from infections, and removing mask mandates in healthcare harms patients. A facility without a mask mandate is making a *deliberate choice* known to harm patients.

Honey, stop what you're doing, new hyponatremia research just dropped! What's it say? It looks like slow correction is associated with worse outcomes, like death and length of stay! Was it just a small study? No, it was a meta-analysis of almost 12,000 patients!
