The biggest news so far of this year’s waterford competition @waterfordrhyme.bsky.social is that 2026’s judge is the outstanding poet @mollytwomey.bsky.social - team waterford is thrilled to have an opportunity to work with another Lismore legend. Last year it was @allgumsblazing.bsky.social !

Happy indeed that my short story “Wish You Were Here” is in this Spring issue of the Brussels Review. Happier still that I’ll have another story in the issue that follows! It’s like waiting for buses, nothing comes along for ages, then suddenly there’s a fleet. 😁

I had a wonderful time at Tsundoku last Sunday, at the International Centre for the Image, along with @christina-writer.bsky.social, @bredaspaight.bsky.social, and many others not on this platform. 😁
