Jesper Myrfors, Magic the Gathering first Art Director, about women in fantasy (as subjects of a drawing and as artists). It feels as needed in 2025 as it was back then, though one can certainly appreciate his vision when MtG was just an oddity in board game shops.

The tactical combat can be a touch repetitive after a while, but you can skip most small encounters, and it’s the bosses where the game really shines, anyway. Crown Gambit also features some of the best artwork (ESPECIALLY in terms of character design) that I’ve seen this year
