For better or worse, depending on your perspective, @indiesruption.bsky.social's "Vlad Circus: Curse of Asmodeus" trades in survival horror gameplay for more straightforward adventure game puzzling. But even toned down it’s another creepy-fun installment in the lives of these twisted tragic carnies.

I finished "The Dagger of Amon Ra" and successfully solved the dagger theft AND museum murders!

I finished "Loco Motive" by @robustgames.bsky.social in 10,5 hours! If I had played this last year, it would definitely have made my top three.

I've just booked tickets for this once in a lifetime chance to hear @davidbfox.com, a point 'n click adventure game legend, talk at @homecomputermuseum.computermuseum.social.ap.brid.gy, only an hour drive from my home! I'm as giddy as a schoolboy!

Moving house five times forced me to get rid of "Cruise for a Corpse", "Lure of the Temptress", "Beneath a Steel Sky", "Dune", "Curse of Enchantia", "Blue Force", "Lost in Time", "Under a Killing Moon", "Touché", "Ace Ventura" ... All gone... 😭 At least I was able to still hang on to these...

I had no idea Steam existed until the remake of Monkey Island came along. Almost 26 years later, I have 538 games in my library, and a wishlist of 103.

I've finished three games shown here, I'm currently playing one other, and have one left in my library. I'd say this is a very good presentation of recent adventure game characters!

You’ll be tempted to stay home to finish "Mindlock: The Apartment" in one go, as it’s a funny-creepy story packed with great gameplay and wrapped up in impressive production values.

Not many adventure games I spent 20+ hours on! "Dreams in the Witch House" is an excellent supernatural experience, if you have what it takes to manage your resources...

"Wildwood Down" by @crashablestudios.bsky.social is like an entertaining boardwalk attraction in its own right, combining mystery and humor in a clever point-and-click puzzle adventure starring a memorable lead character.

I've started playing the classic Dynamix point 'n click adventure game "Heart of China" and I'm one hour into it! You can read about my playthrough on my blog.

It gets more repetitive with each new playthrough, but the fun presentation, delightful characters, and significant freedom of choice give @nikkijay.games's "Quantum Witch" enough replay value to want to find everything you can in this magical fantasy universe.

What an amazing game! Without a doubt my favorite of all Life is Strange games. Then again, I've probably say that of every LiS game I've played ;)
