finished a ~6k short story draft today, written over the past three days. i've only had energy for novel revisions for most of this year thanks to serious health issues, so it's been nice to do something that feels productive and new instead of another rewrite.

rarely have i been proud to be from ohio, but this is one of those moments

i will never demand to know anyone’s story. i don’t care if someone’s making transgressive art for fetish purposes either. this attitude of ‘it’s only okay to draw xyz if it’s vent art’ creates a hostile environment for survivors who don’t want to disclose their experiences to a bunch of strangers.
