Room 2 have been working independently to write sentences, look at some of our fantastic work. We have also used Kapla to spell out days of the week.

Last week, Room 2 had lots of fun creating pictures using ‘bubble’ paint and we got very messy when we went outside to make bug hotels.

Room 2 have been learning about the sounds 'll’ and ‘ss.’ They have also been learning how to give change when buying items. The children loved meeting ‘Rang-Tan,’ a baby orangutan who helped them learn about the dangers to rainforests and the animals that call them home. #BankheadWillSOAR

Room 3 have been consolidating their understanding of Data Handling and created their own Bar Charts based on all the different eye colours in our class 👁️📏

GP Room have been collecting data for RSPB's Big Bird Watch. We have also been getting messy making fat balls to help our hungry birds through winter's cold spell. We are excited to watch them being pecked away at.

GP Room have been investigating floods. We took part in a research challenge and also explored how we thought our class would cope with flooding at different levels. We decided that if we were on the ground floor we would definitely need to make some changes to protect our resources.
