P6 R13 have been learning all about the digestive system in science! They carried out a fun experiment to see what happens when chyme moves through the intestines. They used crepe paper to measure the length of both intestines, and couldn’t believe the small intestine would reach across the class!

P7 celebrated Maths Week Scotland by taking part in our Big P7 Outdoor Scavenger Hunt. We worked collaboratively to solve problems and puzzles linked to measurement, fractions, estimating and the four operations.

P6 had a visit from Mrs Wilson from Hamilton School for the Deaf to learn how they can support friends with hearing loss. They took part in a hearing experiment and learned what it was like first hand, when working in the classroom with lots of background noise. #DeafAwareness #responsiblecitizens

Primary 1 had an exciting visit from author, Debbie Quinn, and her best friend, ‘Leonard the Lion’! 🦁 Debbie read her rhyming book and taught P1 all about making healthy choices to keep them big and strong! They loved listening to the story and had the best time dancing and singing with Leonard! 🦁
