I think it’s extra important to participate in National Voter Registration Day today. Relentlessly normal people helping old folks with QR codes so they can update their voting addresses really pushes back on the “fire-breathing leftie hater” narratives #nvrd

Tomorrow is National Voter Registration Day. I encourage you to reach out to your local voter groups (like the League of Women Voters) and see if you can help. Registering voters feels good! Most people are nice and appreciate seeing people who care out in their communities. It beats doomscrolling

Time to call my senators yet again. I’ve called my senators more this week than in the last 30 years total. (Before you hate, I contact them via email typically.) I loathe the phone. So this is A BIG DEAL FOR ME. But fuck it. I don’t know how else to help save our democracy.

This is what I’ve been doing in the evenings instead of doomscrolling. It’s surprisingly soothing to stab something repeatedly while mentally screaming FUUUUCCCCKKKKKK into the void. Highly recommend.
