Watched Joyride with the young adult offspring last night. It was her 1st watch. It's one of those charming horror flicks that you tend to forget how hard it goes if you haven't seen it in a while. She enjoyed it and gave it a 7/10.

So T3 is such a mixed bag. Overall I enjoyed it more than 2 but not nearly as much as 1. David Howard Thornton's antics are the best part, helping to solidify Art the Clown as one of the most enjoyable villains. The progressive plot however feels forced and handicapped by hindsight. 6.5/10

Finally watching Terrifier 3 and I realized that, somehow, Damien Leone has made a caricature of horror. Like, literally. I don't think it's intentional. It still services itself as a horror movie but everything is just exaggerated to create a comedic and grotesque effect. 🤡🤷🏻‍♂️

The short sightedness exemplified here is illustrative.
