Lee’s Summit, Missouri showed up again for the second #NoKings rally. Auntie Fa was there with all her friends and relations. I had a night of insomnia and wanted to roll over and go back to sleep, but not today. Today I make good trouble for the future generations.

I hate that I saw this and thought it was real for a second but then realized it was a joke… But then I had a moment and thought, “I’ll just look it up to be sure it’s a joke” because that’s the world we live in. Only to discover IT’S TRUE! It’s true. What the hell. Put a fork in me, I’m done.

Less than 47% of Missouri are Republicans but they have the majority of representatives and our legislators are picking their voters and taking away our rights. Not all of us are taking this sitting down.

Until he shows his face again, I guess he’s Schrödinger's Trump.

Just saw this for the first time while eating at a small Mexican restaurant. Music videos of Latina music were playing on a TV in the corner. The music breaks & this pops up on the screen. I can’t begin to tell you how particularly vile it was to hear this in the setting of a Mexican restaurant.

I was lucky to have a great father. He was humble & kind. He was absolutely devoted to his family but was no less devoted to other families who had need. How it made me glow when someone said to me, “You’re his daughter? Oh, I think the world of him.” I miss you. You taught me what a man should be.

I keep thinking about this moment at the White House as Trump berates Zelenskyy and how Zelenskyy knew all the while the plan he had in the works for the epic drone attack. Imagine how he was biting his tongue as Trump told him he didn’t have the cards.

Kansas City, MO is a blue island in a red state. One federal worker admitted that he changed his voter registration from Dem to Ind in order to avoid loyalty firings. Losing 30,000 jobs is huge. But the red areas of our state are fine with this. They hate the city dwellers.
