#Sudan: We welcome the joint statement issued by Un special procedures regarding the situation in North Darfur, which strongly condemned the attacks by the Rapid Support Forces on the Zamzam and Abu Shouk camps for internally displaced persons in #NorthDarfur.

In many conflict, war does not end with a ceasefire. Its remnants persist in the form of #landmines and explosive remnants of war that continue to endanger civilians—especially women and children.

Israel’s military escalation in the Middle East is destabilizing the region and threatening the future of generations. In this thread, we will highlight the impact of these attacks and the urgent need for international intervention.

In 2024, we focussed on five projects on themes of advocacy, conflict analysis, disarmament, and international law. We empowered young women leaders in disarmament and arms control through a workshop that brought together 27 participants from 17 #MENA countries
