The murder of Kirk raises no questions about the morality of assassination. That it was wrong is an absolute given. What is also closed to discussion is whether speech that seeks to eliminate constitutional rights of people based on the proponent's religious ideology deserves official action.

Fascism insists that good and evil are distributed purely according to ideology & identity. The broadest currents of the left are liberationist; we are literally pro-choice. The killer chose murder, at odds with any liberationist ethos.
