My variant on this is that judging something as being “interesting” rather than “good” should be normalized. There are lots of polished, fine-tuned products that I find bland as hell, and there’s lots of poorly-made, incomprehensible media that is utterly fascinating!

generally getting very sick of people not understanding art. there are no set rules. there's a natural flow from experimentation and research towards general consensus of what works and what doesn't. just cuz your findings break someone else's conventions doesn't mean it's not gonna work. lmao

I love starting new hobbies It's so cool to see yourself progress the more you do it, especially when it's something photo/video related and you can look back and see how much has changed over the months :) (i vividly remember how excited i was that i made it close to the car in that first clip)
