Who else occasionally checks if some LLM can regurgitate their own code back to them so I don't have to go find when/where I did something many years ago?!

I am a game developer after all... I should own a Steam controller, right?!... for testing, you know... It can go on the stand with the other controllers I rarely use, right?!...

I had a weird #gamejam idea: Surfer Farm. Top-down pixel view of beach-side waves where you "farm" surfers by influencing waves, rocks and other beach features, causing more or fewer surfers to sit on their boards waiting for waves. The surfers are the "crop", and it's a cozy farming game.

In me here are two ADHD wolves at war. One says: "You wasted all day, and now you have to do a day's worth of work in half an hour!" The other says: "You only have half an hour left anyway. Might as well play a quick game round!"

The last two nights I woke up with words in my mind: Night 1: "Pump up the jam, I like the way I am" Night 2: "Isomer-rendered cyclene engine" What is wrong with me?

Sometimes ADHD is trying to fall asleep and barely managing to stay awake at the same time.

Here I am, just building my little blueprints, when I realised that apparently my activities BORE MY FACTORY! IT'S YAWNING!

So what does one do when the WSJ slaps your game app on their website without so much as an email or message?

At some intervals I completely forget that my dog is a dog and am, quite roughly, shocked back to that reality by suddenly realizing his nose is REALLY long for a person, or that he has dense hair, like EVERYWHERE! Or that his toenails are curved and thicker than my own! It's really quite jarring.

Real talk: How do you transition an app/game/tool from version 0.592.1 to 1.0? It's used by 40,000+ users daily, and has been in live operation for 5+ years...

So, I'd like to try some modern local co-op games (it takes two, split fiction, etc) with my gf, but she's new to modern controllers (last game she played was Crash Bandicoot!), so is there something we could both play to "learn" modern controls without stress? (I've learned via Elden Ring)

Why is my first instinct always to write code to do something rather than to check if an app already exists?! In this case to use mobile phone accelerometer data to record my dogs heart and breathing activity.
