Today is the LAST DAY! We’re going to spend time in Stockholm before our flight home!

Our ferry to Stockholm was…. Interesting Now it’s time for a the last full day of this trip which is a chill one just exploring more of Stockholm

Welcome to Helsinki! After a pleasent night on the older style night train carriages we’re now here ready for a day of bashing!

We are now on our way to Helsinki in this very retro sleeper!!!! Some of these features have to be from the 70s!! Tommorow is bashing fun and a… bizarre method for us to get back to Stockholm!

Welcome to Haparanda where we now have a 40 minute walk… to Finland!

Bit slow on today’s update… the dreaded lurgey has got me! But at the moment we’re currently the move from Luleå to Haparanda where we stop for lunch and wait for our next train which will take up the rest of today!

And here we are in Luleå! It’s a night here and a meet-up with a freind before continuing on with our journey towards Haparanda tommorow morning! Have a good evening…. I want diner!

We now at our rough halfway point for today’s journey.. Kiruna! Still a while to go but it’s a lovely day with stunning views!

Back already! It’s time for the train back down to Sweden! Though this time we’re headed to Luleå instead of Boden!

After arriving into Stockholm we’ve been enjoying the metro and the *TRAM* (according to my partner it’s a light rail but the signs say tram :3) This will be us for the rest of the evening before more city fun tommorow!

Good morning from Malmö C for today’s long train journey… an X2000 to Stockholm! I’ve wanted to try these for years so I’m very excited :333

After getting settled… we’re on one of these!!!!!! I’ve wanted to go on a train like this for soooooo long :3 The announcement chime is the same as the Southeastern Javelins!!! We’re on this to Malmö C where we’re gonna get some dinner then head back to Copenhagen :3

Our arrival into Copenhagen was.. somewhat timely with only a 17 minute delay! Felt like nothing considering we were moving most of the time! Now it’s time for some local transport on the metro etc :3

We’ve hit Denmark! With only about 2 1/2 hours left to go until Denmark We’ve also got our ID check here at the border from the Danish Authorities. These old IC1 coaches are very nice! Especially in these compartments!

Good morning from Hamburg Hauptbahnhof! It’s time for today’s travelling which is simply (for now) ECE398 to Copenhagen! And lucky us! We’ve got DB IC1 coaches instead of DSB Talgos because we’ve caught the train before our original plan… yes please compartment stock!

I’ve been quiet this evening but the arrival in Hamburg was perfection! And I even got greeted by a familiar sight from home… a crashed lime bike! Tommorow entails more fun… and possibly more delays if I don’t get lucky

It’s really hitting the fan today! Cancelations and delays on a lot of routes up to Hamburg… we were lucky to get a seat on this one!

A successful Eurostar journey has led to a… not so great start of things on the mainland. This ICE3neo (ICE 15) is late… and our ICE1 (ICE 1032) to Hamburg has been cancelled! So it’s an ICE4 (ICE 200) for us next when we change at Köln…

Good morning from the finest member of the Eurostar fleet… an E300 Today is the first day of a rather sizeable trip, starting off with this Eurostar to Brussels!

It's been a while.. my life has changed a lot.. but I've come back for a some trips and such! Since I last posted I've had some personal issues.. but I've also done a lot of travelling.. in Switzerland & More! Here's some photos to bridge the gap before something big happens later this week...

A brief unscheduled stop in Witham as we’re running to plenty of time. Time for a bit of fresh air in this horrible hot weather a leg stretch, pleasant even after all the walking in Norwich!

A wander and some nibbles in Norwich have ensued after a delightful journey up.. now it’s time to head back home!

Good morning, today is another @hastingsdiesels.co.uk tour and we’re already underway! We are Norwich bound via Cambridge to begin with!

And that’s us all done with today’s trip! This will be it until the 21st where it’s the Hastings Diesels tour to Norwich which as usual I’ll be on the ball for updates! Have a nice evening, I’m off to bed, probably, after being up 18 hours!

From one train to another, it’s now time for the 20:26 service to Ore!

While the weather might be improving, I’m pooped! I’m now on the 18:57 to Brighton having me home and ‘dry’ in Hastings hopefully by about half-nine!

The rains have hit! With weather being a lot more unpredictable than I expected I’m headed back towards the city centre to find some dinner and consider some options for returning home later on!

Now it’s time just to enjoy Portsmouth for what it is! Some wandering and some spotting is due now :)

We’re back on a bus now, after a sit on a beach with some lunch and 484005! We’re headed back in the Portsmouth direction now :3

Now we’re in Havant the hunt for lunch begins, then after that we’re bound for another island that’s a bit different to Portsea!

A hop to Gosport and back on the E2 and then a 9 had ensued.. Now it’s time for an X4 back to Portsmouth where lunch will be hunted and it’ll be time to pick my next destination or something along those lines!

It’s now time for one thing I definitely aimed for today! Doing the Eclipse Routes! After a X5 to Fareham that’s what we’re now on to do, starting with an E1 which is again a Electroliner Kite

After arriving into Portsmouth & Southsea we now wait for a train to the last stop, Portsmouth Harbour where busses begin out of the Hard Interchange!

The adventure continues with a lucky snag of a nicely specd 377! We’re going off at Portsmouth & Southsea today which is where today’s main event takes hold :3

Good morning from a damp Hastings! We’re off to venture around the West Coastway area today.. let’s get moving!

And that’s us back at Hastings after that short adventure! Not too stupid timing wise and I’ve got the evening to still enjoy!

And now it’s time for just one more bus on this mini-trip! A 99 back to Hastings, and like this morning we’ve been treated to another of Hastings Depots finest!

Things continue with me now on a 13X headed for Eastbourne via Beachy Head!

While in Brighton some bus riding is occurring and also the hunt for lunch! After all this it’s a 13X that takes me fancy :3

Next bus, it’s a Gemini! After heading up into Kent we’re now headed back down to the coast!

Good morning on this fantastic bank holiday Monday! Today we’re off for some bashing, first stop is that Ex-South-Wales Scania K230UB! It’s time for a 1066 to Tunbridge Wells!!

And that’s us all done once again! What a fab and relaxed day trip to the Bluebell Railway?! Big thank you to @hastingsdiesels.co.uk and all their volunteers as usual for making this tour as fantastic as always!

Victoria, a tad late but we’ll make up time thanks to pathing allowances! Homeward bound we are!

The time has come, it’s time to depart from Sheffield park on the @hastingsdiesels.co.uk tour and back to Hastings via London Victoria once again! It’s been a marvellous afternoon at the Bluebell with a lovely journey home awaiting us!
