Enjoying Esoteric Ebb so far. One detail I really like about it are the session notes. This updates as progress is made and gives a nice overview/reminder of what I was up to the last time I played, it's even signed off by the dev! More games should do this kinda thing!

Not seen much buzz about Croak but I really enjoyed the demo for it. It's a platformer in a similar vein to Celeste, each stage has rooms to overcome using various mechanics such as the frogs tongue to bounce and grapple around, also super quick restart when you die. Would recommend checking it out!

First 10 completed games of 2026 with platform and my ratings 🎮✅ While I have rolled credits on Mewgenics that game is FAR from over lol, my save file says I'm at 31% completion at 70 hours playtime 🤯😆 one I will continue to chip away at over the year, it's so good!

So I just accidentally did a no death run on Returnal on PC! Kept expecting to die but I somehow didn't. One big 10 hour run though all 6 biomes and their bosses. I have already played this game through on PS5 so I know whats what, but I'm still very surprised I pulled it off! Ready for Saros! 💪🏻

Reanimal finished, damn good game. Looking forward to playing more when the DLC chapters release!

Played a few hours of Reanimal and have been completely taken by it's beautifully creepy aesthetic and oppressively strange world, this is Inside levels of quality here, which is a high bar! Feels like a nice evolution of the atmospheric platformer, and the co-op experience is great fun!

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is so good. Episode 5 really did that part justice, even knowing what happens I was on the edge of my seat. 🔥

I have a problem and the problems name is Mewgenics! (Game released on Tuesday btw...😬) What an excellent game though, every single run so far has been wildly different due to there being so many abilities, items and gear that all interact in a huge number of ways. Cant put the thing down 😅

Is there anything better than Video Game Rain? I find it so relaxing! Finally getting round to checking out MGS3: Delta and it's very cool to play through one of my favourite games looking like this, it's full of loads of nice little details and effects. 🐍

It's pretty crazy that Mewgenics is out next week, I've been waiting for that game for well over a decade and from the reviews it seems like it's gonna be well worth the wait! 🙀

Somehow managed to finish Cairn on Free Solo/Hardmode with Permadeath in half the time of my original play through, and I only had 2 minor falls all the way up! That was such a great experience, much more intense than Alpinist difficulty, but enjoyable in its own way. Such a great game 🧗‍♀️

I finally picked up Paranormasight (currently £4 on the eShop btw!) after the sequel announcement in the Partner Direct. Been on my backlog for too long, seems cool so far!

Shadow of the Colossus. Singular experience that changed the way I look at video games on the whole. Played it so many times and it just never gets old. Timeless. Perfect. Etc etc 😆

Okay soooo Free Solo/Hard difficulty on Cairn is going surprisingly well!? Managed to get to just under halfway up the mountain, no falls yet! There is a very tough climb coming up next that took me about 30 mins on my first playthrough, and I used lots of pitons, so it's gonna be the real test 🤞
