Tried to go both broad and dense on Pathologic 3. Making the pitch for why people in general should care about these games at all AND why the nitty gritty details of them matter so much.

Started watching The Good Place a few days ago and already on Season 2. What a great show that is!

I love the Zelda games but have never completed Ocarina of Time or Majoras Mask 😅 Have been looking at the PC Decompile versions and they are very nice, like almost native PC games. Can mod them with hi-res texture packs and other stuff, and they even work on the Deck! May have to check them out!

That's Metroid Prime 4 done. Perhaps a bit simplistic in some areas with the odd design choice here and there, but overall, a great game that I personally really enjoyed! For me it shined most in the look and design of each biome, the atmosphere, music and bosses. Ice Belt was also a highlight!

7 hours into Metroid Prime 4 (in the lab) and this is one of those games where the internet makes me feel insane because I'm really enjoying it and the parts people were saying were an affront to god are like, kinda, sorta, fine? 🤷🏻‍♂️

The Last Guardian being my favourite game, it's safe to say I am very excited for Coven of the Chicken Foot. From a team by the co-creator of The Last of Us, this was my favourite announcement from TGA's.

Metroid Prime 4 is gorgeous. Art direction is sublime. It may be on the Switch 2, but this is hands down one of the nicest looking games I've played all year. Really enjoyed the few hours I've played, feels like a proper old school adventure, in the best possible way.

Deserved and expected sweep for Expedition 33 last night, banging game as we all know. Though I do think it winning Best Independent game was a bit much, might meet the requirements but just so far removed from what an indie game is imo. Also, Blue Prince snubbed! (Yes I'm salty about it 😆)

Feel like I might be the only one who liked that final reveal lol. I'm not even a big MP or hero shooter guy, but that looked really cool to me. Any by guys who worked on Titanfall and Apex!? Sign me up!

Man Skate Story's vibes are fucking immaculate. That first time the music kicks in is incredible. I've already played the demo and that shit still gave me goosebumps like it was the first time, and I'm sure it will continue to do that as I progress 😆

Will be staying up until Daft O'Clock watching TGA's with everything crossed we get another glimpse at this. Would also love to finally see Giant Sparrow's next game, oh, and Playdead's too!

My hottest take is that “find the fun” is bullshit. Games dont have to be fun. They have to be appealing or interesting. “Fun” is just one way to achieve that, but it is not even the main way.

I've seen zero talk about Forestrike when it friggin rules! Martial arts roguelike where you get to practice each fight before attempting it for real. Fights play out like puzzles, figuring out which move to use when to overcome the odds. Really smart and rewarding game and only £9! Recommend!

Last night before bed I managed to solve 2 big puzzles I'd been working towards on Blue Prince, was very happy! Then, Decky loader decided to play up and totally crash my Deck, causing it to restart, before I finished the day. So I lost that progress 🙃 We go again 😅

100hrs and 130 pages of notes later Blue Prince is...still not done 😅 I cannot believe how deep this game goes. Getting to the initial main objective and hitting credits must've been like 25-30% of the game? Puzzles within puzzles within puzzles, on and on it goes! I cannot put it down! 🌀

Nice little delivery day, it was about time I owned Outer Wilds physically due to it being one of the actual greatest games of all time, and while I am still not done with Blue Prince, I also needed to own it 😅

Why has YouTube changed the M and the K on number of views to m and k, I am not happy about this.

Just occured to me that Abiotic Factor seems to be absent from a lot of GOTY shortlists, even indie ones. Baffling to me as it has not only been an enormous hit, but might be one of the most interesting survival-crafting games ever, especially once you start dimension-hopping.
