I understand the industry’s hesitation towards remakes, and there is absolutely a certain magic that’s lost in some remakes. The skyboxes in Spyro for example, evoke so much more on PlayStation than they do on PlayStation 4.

More thoughts on the Summer showcases; I really think their “quality” was impacted really badly this year by leaks. We knew about God of War, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Tifa in Street Fighter, Spyro, P6, Switch Sports and Ocarina of Time in advance. The only true surprise of the week was KH4.

I'm realising that a lot of the negative reactions are from Americans who had to get up early for the direct and like... lmao It's nice to have a showcase at a reasonable time for Europeans

Okay, 5.5 (no Duskbloods date) from my Direct predictions, plus two from State of Play and one from Summer Games Fest 21.5/40 for the week ain't bad.
