The @gpwmd.bsky.social has gathered for 3 days in Ottawa 🇨🇦 its 31 member states (including 🇪🇸), observers, international organizations and civil society in the framework of the #G7Canada to discuss the most effective ways to address nuclear and chemical security challenges.

👏That’s a wrap on 2025’s first #GPWG in Ottawa! It was a productive week of discussions across sub-working groups, including on WMD-relevant technology and assessing emerging threats.

Today #GPWMD partners discussed Canada’s #G7 GP priorities, including: 🔹 Expanding engagement with partners globally, particularly on #SIMBA_BIO 🔹 Addressing cross-cutting issues such as WMD-related tech & disinfo 🔹 Enhancing internal GP operations & project coordination
