20 years ago, I took an acting for the camera class, because I was interested and had up to that point only done theater. After, my teacher said I wasn’t right for on-camera and should stick to the stage. It hurt a lot. This week, I was again labeled as not right for on-camera and damn… it hurts. 💔

My improv school didn’t have 301 on weekdays this term, so my group decided to wait and take short form instead. Today was my first class and I enjoyed it a lot. Short form feels a lot more natural and comfortable for me. It’s a nice change of pace for a bit before getting back to long form in May.
