3 hour AEW special was great tv but nothing is funnier than a segment for a dream match with “generational tag teams” being quickly followed up with commentary stating that the bucks are the GOATs. Commentary isn’t wrong either but just hilarious.

An absolute monster AEW Dynamite card tonight that also features Lashley x Liona Should be a great show.

An amazing opener from Hangman and Alexander this week on AEW Dynamite. Great show top to bottom. Garcia in Death Riders needs to lead to singles success but is a good fit at last. C2 victory would make the most character driven sense to me but it likely requires a babyface champion for the payoff

It’s now out that 3 million people have stopped watching WWE Raw globally since its Netflix debut, but, AEW being down on a week where all wrestling was down results in grifter victory laps. 🤼 media is such a murky place at the best of times.

100% this. In 2019? A great signing. In 2025? A guy who is having his personal consolation prize retirement run. Anyone who could have benefited from the passing of a torch from him is long past needing it/will get it from somebody with history in the company itself.

Obviously it’s never great when anyone gets hurt and you have to hope the best for anyone’s recovery ….but it’s really funny that AEW had this mystery of “when is Wardlow coming back?” FOR 18 MONTHS only for him to return, join a major faction then disappear injured without taking a single bump.

The “AEW All Out card is struggling without so many stars” take is baffling but makes sense when you realise these same people are acting like Moxley vs Darby is the main event Refusal to accept Hangman as the star he is, is a big reason for this take in my opinion. It has to close the show for me.
