Comhtháthú sóisialta (social cohesion) is something we need to address, relating to uaigneas and teifigh (refugees). Athrú aeráide (climate change) is something we can tackle at local level, linking back to the lanaí rothar.

My Irish isn’t great, so this Seachtain na Gaeilge I took the opportunity to brush up on my Irish, with a nod to June’s local elections. Uaigneas (loneliness) and lanaí rothar (bike lanes) were words I realised I already knew, and ones I’ll be talking about a lot.
