Great to kickoff our new project exploring the history of Liverpool's overhead railway with young people in Bootle on Merseyside. Wonderful to be collaborating again with our friends. All made possible through the support of Historic England.

We're signing off for Christmas and New Year with some great news! Contracts have been signed and the builders are moving in to start construction of the Scala Arts Centre in January 2025. And we're part of this amazing future for the arts in Worcester! We'll be back on 6th January 2025!

On Monday it was win, win. The MA Applied Theatre @cssdlondon students were thinking about combining digital technology & drama teaching with @candttheatre.bsky.social and then @paulsutton.bsky.social and I had time do some plotting for new projects. A great start to the week!

Drama and technology are cultural shapeshifters. How can we use drama/theatre to interrogate and explore the threat and potential of AI? What drama/theatre conventions are emerging (and useful) from AI? It’s problematic, but C&T are well placed to help us navigate the rocky shoals ahead.
